Your Rights at Work

You have rights at work and you need to be aware of them.  For example:

Have you been dismissed, made redundant or do you feel you have been forced to resign?

Have you been criticised for taking time off work to look after dependents?

Has your employer made deductions from your wages without your agreement?

Do you work via an agency and are you unsure of your rights?

Has your employer sold the business or has another company taken over (also known as “TUPE” or Transfer of Undertakings)?

Has your employer tried to change your terms of employment without your agreement?

Have you experienced a deteriorating relationship with your employer or line manager?  Are you experiencing bullying, harassment, or being marginalised, unduly criticised or under-utilised?

Have you had problems returning to work after maternity leave, or are you unsure of your maternity rights?

We can provide you with advice on these and other questions and explain your rights to you in a clear and easy to understand way so that you can overcome any problems you may encounter in the workplace.

Many clients are able to resolve their problems after the free initial consultation with us; if you do need further assistance we will explain to you clearly the options for funding that advice or representation.

Sick - consult a doctor
Stressed, unable to concentrate, headaches, sleeping problems, emotional, angry due to problems at work - seek medical advice before your medical condition worsens.
